La Igualadina Cotton Factory (also known as Vapor Vell or Cal Godó) is an old, steam-powered textile factory built in 1841. Used for the manufacture of cotton, it initially belonged to company Fabril Igualadina (later, Igualadina Cotonera). It is considered a symbol of the industrial revolution in Catalonia and is the oldest preserved Manchester-style factory in Catalonia.

In 1881 it passed into the hands of Ramon Godó y Pie, the eldest son of one of the founding partners of Fabril Igualadina, who converted the factory into a family business in the hands of this lineage. It operated until 1967.

It was renovated in 2008. It is the only building in the Rec district declared a National Site of Cultural Interest.
