Also known as the Oliva Flour Mill, it was built in 1946 by Josep Grifé Roca, work of the architect Bonaventura Bassegoda i Musté. Later on it was bought by Josep Oliva Tristán. The elevated tower of the building is one of the most well-known elements of the district. It occupies the small block formed by Calles Joan Abad, San Ignacio, del Portal and the Joan Bas i Jordi square.
